THE INCLUSIVE

BOULDER FREERIDE

Established in 2022, The Boulder Freeride Inclusivity Mission hopes to use the clubs voice effectively and help bridge the gap that divides students with the ski/snowboarding community.

We hope to make ALL members, no matter what experience they have on the slopes, to feel welcomed and a part of, not only Freeride but, the Ski and Snowboard community as a whole.

Goals

Outreach to ALL students on campus

Provide more access to passes, gear, transportation, etc

Facilitate events that bring our members together and more involved

Inclusivity Director

Gracey Ringstad is the founder of Boulder Freeride’s Inclusivity Program. Born and raised in Telluride, Colorado, skiing has always played a large role in her life. Now, she hopes to use her love for the sport and her position in Freeride to make positive and inclusive change in the ski and snowboard community.

When we have an opportunity to spend time in nature, we have an opportunity for healing on both an emotional and physical level. We all should have the access and the privilege to enjoy outdoor spaces with ease, with feelings of belonging and safety.
